Jeremy grew up at Landmark and began serving as a teenager. As he grew up he was a volunteer and joined the staff on a part-time basis while attending Troy University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting. Jeremy met his wife Lindsey at Troy and they have a daughter named Campbell and a son named Brady. Jeremy oversees all the technology and media at Landmark.
Buddy is a native of Montgomery and served Landmark early in his ministry career as youth minister. After working in campus and preaching ministry at churches in Alabama and Florida, Buddy returned to Landmark in 1996. As Senior Minister, Buddy leads Landmark through preaching and overseeing our small groups ministry. He leads the staff, and with the Elders, casts vision for the church. He is married to Stephanie and they have four children and two son-in-laws; Laura (Charlie), Lindsey (Ben), Luke and Lincoln…AND he is the proud Grandbuddy to 5 precious grandchildren.
Nate joined Landmark’s staff in 1999 as an intern and full time in 2004 ,working with LCM (Landmark Campus Ministry). Nate has a B.S. from Faulkner in Biblical Studies with emphasis in Youth & Family Ministry and has done graduate studies in Counseling. He is the proud reigning champ of National Lampoon Christmas Vacation Trivia & has eaten at Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant over 700 times. Nate is married to Jennifer and they have two boys, Ethan & Evan and a daughter, Ellie Jo.
Gail joined the Landmark staff in 2008. She is a graduate of Auburn University of Montgomery with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She came to Landmark after working in leadership roles for Kinder Care Learning Centers Inc. and Regions Financial. Gail serves Landmark as the Coordinating Minister. She works with matters related to business and HR as well as coordinating all the nuts and bolts of the ministry staff. She is married to Doug Durden and they have a daughter, Meredith.
Andy grew up in Texas but hopes that won’t be held against him here east of the Mississippi. He has a BA in New Testament Greek and an MA in Missions from Abilene Christian University. He met his bride Melissa in Kenya, proposed to her in Uganda, and married her in California. Andy and Melissa (along with their children Elijah, Amelie, and Isaiah) served 12 years among the Dagara tribe in Burkina Faso, West Africa, before taking on the role of Missions Minister here at Landmark. He also once won a yo-yo competition on a beach in Ghana and has built his own banjo.
Wes grew up in Knoxville, TN and graduated from Lipscomb University with Bachelor’s degree in Bible. He is married to Cristal and they have three sons, Jonah, Micah, Wyatt, and a daughter named Grace. Wes joined the Landmark staff as Youth Minister in 2010 after serving churches in Colorado and Texas. He transitioned to become the minister of worship and adult education in June 2015 and accepted the role of Connections Minister in 2016.
Al has been with the Landmark church for over 15 years. He has been in ministry for over 35 years. He is the children’s minister and teaches special marriage and parenting classes. He holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Studies, an Education Specialist degree in Agency Counseling, a Master’s degree in School Counseling, and an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. Al is married to Connie and they have two adult children, Lee (Salena) and Joy and are proud grandparents of four grandchildren.
Casey was born and raised in Searcy, AR. He graduated from Harding University with a degree in Education in 2001. He married his wife Kellie in 2000. They have a son named Isaac and a daughter named Ivy. He taught at Central Arkansas Christian schools in Little Rock, AR before he became a full time youth minister. He has been a youth minister for over 10 years.
Jeremy began his ministry career in 1998 with Acappella Ministries. During his time with Acappella Ministries he toured with AVB (Acappella Vocal Band), Acappella, and Vocal Union. He has served in worship and student ministries in Murray, KY, Florence, AL, and Pensacola, FL. He graduated from Harding University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Ministry degree, and Lipscomb University in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry. Jeremy is married to Jessica and they have two sons, Dylan and Bryant. He enjoys Alabama football, running, spending time with family, and coaching his sons sports teams. He also leads worship at various youth and adult conferences, and still occasionally performs with Acappella at various concerts.
